The parts that make up the Ignition System all work together to provide a spark of the right intensity and at the exact time to light up the air and fuel mixture. Spark plugs are at the business end of the ignition system, and are fed power from Starter Motors and ignition coils. To ensure this happens efficiently and at the correct time, a series of sensors monitor the position of cams, throttle bodies and cranks, and air volume and temperature. All parts rely on various Car Wiring Supplies to work, and protective relays, switches, and fuses to prevent faults. They can also be controlled directly from the car's main computer or separate car Control Modules, such as the ignition module found in recent makes.
