If your vehicle keeps switching in and out of 4WD you may need to replace your Transfer Case Control Lever. Another reason you may be unable to stay in four-wheel drive could be an issue with the Transfer Case Actuator. If you’re having shifting issues as well as unusual exhaust emissions or fuel smells in the cabin you need to check your Vapor Canister or replace your Transmission Oil Filter.
