Carlson Warranty Information

The following is a summary of manufacturer warranty terms. This summary in no way modifies or supersedes the original terms.

The Carlson Quality Brake Parts Product Warranty warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and service, for a period of one year from date of shipment. Carlson’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or furnishing a similar replacement product without charge. Carlson may require the return of the defective material, transportation prepaid, to establish the claim. All claims must be made in writing. No allowances will be made for repairs or alterations without Carlson’s written consent or approval. Carlson shall not in any event be liable for any special. indirect or consequential damage, except as specifically required by applicable law. CARLSON MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY. CARLSON EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Federal and/or state laws may provide other warranties for this product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. This warranty does not apply to Carlson Products that have been 1) altered, abused or used for unintended purposes; 2) improperly installed, maintained or repaired or installed on a second engine or motor vehicle; 3) damaged by accident, negligence or misuse; 4) used in commercial, fleet, heavy duty, off-road, public or government vehicles; or 5) returned without components or parts that were originally included in the package.
