Airtex Warranty Information

The following is a summary of manufacturer warranty terms. This summary in no way modifies or supersedes the original terms.

This Lifetime-Limited Warranty lasts as long as you own the vehicle in which the Airtex-ASC Electric Fuel Pump is installed. Coverage terminates when you sell or otherwise transfer ownership of the vehicle in which the Airtex-ASC Electric Fuel Pump was installed.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by: i) improper installation, including, without limitation, failure to clean the fuel tank and inspect the fuel lines; ii) mishandling; iii) abuse; iv) casualty, including, without limitation, damage caused by collision or by acts of God. Installing an Airtex-ASC Product into service vehicles such as police cars, taxis, fleet or modified vehicles or race cars and use of racing fuel will void this Limited Warranty.

Airtex-ASC Products, L.P. will not be responsible for the cost of related parts, labor charges, consequential damages, incidental damages or expenses, personal injury or damage to property.

All implied warranties, including, without limitation, the warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and merchantability are disclaimed as of the date this Lifetime-Limited Warranty terminates.

The sole remedy provided by Airtex-ASC Products, L.P. under this Lifetime-Limited Warranty shall be the replacement of the pump as stated herein.

When installing an Airtex Electric fuel pump (i.e., fuel pumps only and not fuel pump assemblies), Airtex-ASC Products, L.P. requires you to simultaneously replace the fuel strainer or fuel filter in order to maintain eligibility under this Lifetime-Limited Warranty and failure to do so may void coverage.

Note: Fuel pumps and or filters and injectors are considered to be hazardous materials once exposed to the fuel. Transportation of such items is under the jurisdiction of the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) Regulations 49 CFR 173.4 for shipping a limited quantity of dangerous goods (residual gasoline). This 12 Month-Limited Warranty expires the earlier of 12 months from the date of purchase of your Airtex-ASC Product or the date upon which you sell or otherwise transfer ownership of the vehicle in which the Airtex-ASC Product was installed.

To the fullest extent allowed under the law, all implied warranties, including, without limitation, the implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and merchantability expire upon the expiration of this 12 Month-Limited Warranty.

The fuel pump must be installed as specified by the Original Equipment Manufacturer of your vehicle and/or as catalogued by Airtex-ASC Products, L.P.

Limited Lifetime Water Pump Warranty: Applies to all Airtex-ASC new water pumps excluding Class 5-8 vehicles.

The following will void the Airtex-ASC Industries warranty:

• Class 5-8 vehicles
• Product is improperly installed, abused or improperly maintained
• Product is installed in an application inconsistent with its intended use
• Cause of failure is external to the supplied product
• Defective claim paperwork is not returned, or is improperly completed
• Product was installed on an emergency vehicle, taxicab or vehicle subjected to abnormal use (i.e. racing)

The Airtex-ASC warranty becomes effective on the date a part is installed on an un-modified equipment application following proper procedures set forth by the original equipment manufacturer.

To initiate a warranty claim, download and fill out the form below, carefully following the instructions. This warranty form claim must be completed and the part sent within 30 days of part failure.
