Valeo’s key products include clutch kits, alternators, A/C compressors, radiators, engine cooling fans, headlight assemblies, fog lamps and fog lights for cars, starter motors, intercoolers, and more.

Valeo has 166 factories, 20 research centers, 38 development centers, and 15 distribution platforms, and employs 100,900 people in 32 countries worldwide. In North America, the company has 21 production sites and 8 research and development centers. The company employs 14,493 people across North America.

Valeo came to the United States in 1989 through the acquisition of Blackstone, an American firm specializing in engine cooling with facilities in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The Blackstone name was officially changed to Valeo Engine Cooling in 1990. Since then, they have been steadily serving the automotive aftermarket with high quality parts and a consistent drive towards operational excellence.

Focused on four areas from driving assistance and powertrain systems to thermal and visibility systems, Valeo manufactures components for the world’s automakers as well as provides replacement parts to the independent global aftermarket.
