ABOUT MOOG

MOOG AUTO PARTS: THE PROBLEM SOLVER

Since 1919, MOOG, owned by Federal-Mogul, has delivered exceptional, durable parts that have consistently outperformed the factory original. Known for developing problem-solving components, the brand has grown over the years including the addition of its economical sub-brand QuickSteer focused on steering and suspension for European and Asian vehicles, to become a reliable global supplier with award-winning products, technical support, and training. Today, MOOG is recognized and respected throughout the automotive industry as the Problem Solver.

THE MOOG ADVANTAGE

Competitor parts break long before the equivalent MOOG part. In fact, MOOG lasts up to 5 times as long. When you select MOOG steering and suspension parts for your car, truck, or SUV, you get premium, long-lasting components that keep you in the driver’s seat and out of the repair shop. Experience the MOOG advantage with steering, suspension, and alignment automotive parts including Alignment Camber Kits, Idler Arms, Pitman Arms, Tie Rod Ends, Ball Joints, Bushings, and Control Arms. Whatever your part, MOOG ensures it stands up to the toughest demands for better durability, protection, articulation, and performance.

OVER 50 YEARS OF NASCAR RACING PARTNERSHIP

Did you know MOOG provides the official steering and suspension of NASCAR? Their engineers collaborate with NASCAR on the development of safety-critical steering and suspension components. The NASCAR Rule Book also mandates that every Monster Energy NASCAR Cup race car be equipped with MOOG Ball Joints and Tie Rod Ends.

LEAF SPRING AND BEYOND

Brothers Alva and Hubert Prater (H.P.) Moog went into business together in 1919 distributing automotive leaf springs for Ford Model Ts. By the 1930s, their company, MOOG, had pivoted to manufacturing higher-quality, front-end parts and had earned a solid reputation providing problem-solving part solutions. From electrically heat-treated springs in the 1920s and gusher bearings in the 1950s to more recent developments, MOOG has played a pivotal role in shaping the automotive suspension and steering landscape. In fact, MOOG owns almost 50 patents for design enhancements that extend product life or simplify installation and replacement. Acquired by Federal-Mogul in the 1990s, MOOG celebrates over 100 years providing reliable steering and suspension parts to the aftermarket.

PROBLEM-SOLVING THROUGH AUTOMOTIVE PARTS

MOOG parts are designed for the aftermarket. From a Problem Solver powdered metal gusher bearing that extends the life of MOOG tie rods to a pre-installed dust boot on Problem Solver MOOG ball joints for simpler installation, these application-specific innovations can be found throughout the MOOG catalog. Add to that MOOG’s coverage expansion to include almost 1000 new part numbers, and you have everything you need for an easy installation and long-lasting performance.
